Mountain Country Outfitters said that we could expect an excellent and professional guide service if we booked our Moose hunt with them. I have had bad luck in the past with outfitters who promised the world and you get there, and they don’t want to work for you, so I was skeptical. Mountain Country Outfitters exceeded my expectations. They told me that I would see plenty of Moose, and I did. I was surprised at the amount of game we saw everyday. They said that they would work 110% for me, and they actually worked well above that for my self and my party. All 3 of us tagged out on good bulls. I personally saw 3-5 bulls every day, and a couple in the fifties before taking my big bull. I would recommend Mountain Country Outfitters to anyone who wants to be treated with honesty, hard work, and a first class hunt all the way. Thanks so much guys for restoring my faith in Outfitters. I will see you next year for that big Whitetail!

What can I say my friends. You promised me a first rate hunt and man did you guys deliver. The minute I arrived in Alberta I was treated with respect, and as a friend. You advertise, “come as a client and leave as a friend”. You guys take that to heart. I have hunted all over North America, and I have never hunted in an area as beautiful or game rich as Hinton. The Mountains and wildlife are simply awesome. I cannot believe the size of your Whitetail Deer out there either. Remember that double drop tine buck? My Moose hunt was incredible, and you told me everyday that we would see Moose and we did. I passed on 3 or 4 before taking my bad boy on the third day. Thanks for everything guys, you made my Canadian Moose hunt a true adventure. I am glad that I have made Mountain Country Outfitters my annual hunt camp. See you next year.

We booked a last minute Whitetail hunt with you guys, and you both produced just as you said you could. We came to Alberta on a business trip in Banff, and we called Mountain Country Outfitters to see if they could squeeze us in for only 3 days. You and Lain were good enough to take us on such a short hunt. We must have seen at least 30 deer a day, and on the final morning, I took my 165 B&C brute.  Thanks from the bottom of my heart brothers for making my dream come true. You know your stuff buddy, and you guys now your hunting area that is for damn sure. I will be back in the near future to get a shot at that buck we saw the evening before.

I am still in awe. I have hunted in Colorado, Wyoming, and Montana, but I have never seen Elk like what you have in Hinton. You truly are blessed, and the scenery is out of this world. From the moment I arrived, until the day I left, I was treated as a friend. The amount of game you and Lain have out there is incredible. From the camp to the meals, everything was first rate as you said it would be.  You gave me my life long dream of taking a true giant among Elk. I have never seen an area that can produce bulls like the ones you put us on each day. I passed on 4, 6x6 bulls that would go in the 360 B&C range, before I anchored my 7x7. My bull officially net scored 408. I know that you will only get one chance in a lifetime at a bull that size, but I will be back each year, until I beat it. I know I am in the right area to do that, so why go anywhere else.

Hey guys,

Here is the testimonial I promised you.
I still have dreams of the bull Elk that got away man. I have been on hunts in Colorado, but I have never seen an Elk like the one I didn’t even shoot at with Mountain Country Outfitters. We saw over 80 Elk in the last 3 days alone of my hunt. I passed on 2 good quality bulls to get a chance at a true monster.        We snuck in under the cover of fog, and when it cleared, there was the biggest 7x7 I have ever seen. We figured that the bull was 300 yards out, and would score in the low 4oo’s typical. The only problem was that I could not hold on him straight enough. I have never had the shakes like I had that day. To actually see a bull that most hunters only dream of was unbelievable. My heart sank when he walked back in to his harem, and I could not shoot on account that he was now surrounded by cows. Not every hunt has to end in a kill to be successful. The camp and food was great, and I made a friend for life. You and Lain run an excellent operation, and the game in your area is widely abundant. Your knowledge of the area is incredible to say the least. I am booked again with you for next year buddy.
